The Douglas County Board on June 18 adopted amendments to its Rules of Procedure (Resolution #21‑26) and to County Board Policies & Procedures regarding audio recordings (Resolution #22‑26) and closed sessions (Resolution #23‑26). Changes to Rule #1 clarify the standard meeting schedule (third Thursday at 6:00 p.m., with exceptions) and the annual budget planning meeting timing. The audio‑recording amendment requires electronic audio recording of all County Board meetings with recordings retained for seven years (and committee recordings retained for seven years after minutes approval unless directed otherwise).
