The Douglas County Planning & Zoning Committee on June 10 approved Petition No. 26‑5, a request by Justin and Sarah Quetico to change their property’s zoning classification from R‑1 to R‑2 to accommodate a hobby farm and a home business. The Town of Amnicon registered no objection to the petition. On a motion by Scott Luostari, seconded by Bill Fennessey, the committee approved the zone change and referred it to the County Board; the motion carried unanimously.
