Board adopts updated patron code and program policy with edits

Trustees reviewed and approved edits to the patron code of conduct to add a compliance clause referencing library signage and staff requests and instructions. After debate about wording and whether to require compliance with “all” staff requests, the board agreed on language to read in effect as compliance with signage and staff direction. One trustee proposed the final wording and the chair called the motion; the vote was announced in favor.
