Council hears first reading on library regulation and fee changes

Julia Mitschke, Cedar Park’s Library Director, presented proposed amendments to the Cedar Park Code of Ordinances, Chapter 1, Article 1.09 (Library Regulations) and to Appendix A, Article 5.000 (Library Fees) at the Sept. 5 council meeting.
The amendments address room rentals and non-member fees for library services. Mayor Jim Penniman-Morin opened and closed the public hearing with no speakers; the item was presented as a first reading and will return for further council consideration.
