Bastrop ISD reports progress on bond projects including Adelton Elementary and Mina rebuild

Lee Raspberry, Director of Construction & Planning, updated the board on the district’s 2021/2023 bond program status and key facilities projects.
Raspberry reported near-complete weight rooms at Bastrop and Cedar Creek Middle Schools (99% complete), Adelton Elementary at 25% complete, Mina Elementary rebuild at 2% complete, and the Bastrop High School classroom wing in the design phase. He said the new Police and Operations Facility construction had begun this month and other additions and renovations were on schedule.
Board members received the facilities & operations report and asked clarifying questions. Staff will continue to provide regular bond updates as projects proceed.
