Trustees certify completion of continuing education requirements
The BRYAN ISD board approved a year-end report showing trustees met or exceeded continuing-education hours in areas including cybersecurity, school safety, SBOE, child abuse prevention, and Texas Education Code topics.

Vice President Felicia Benford reported that trustees have exceeded required continuing-education hours as of each member's election anniversary, covering topics such as team building, cybersecurity, School Board of Education (SBOE) matters, school safety, evaluating student outcomes, and child abuse prevention training required by Texas Education Code. Trustee Leo Gonzalez II moved to approve the year-end continuing education report; Trustee Ruthie Waller seconded and the board approved it unanimously.
