Chapel Hill ISD’s Executive Director of Business and Finance (Clint McLain) presented the list and role of purchasing cooperatives the district will use in FY 2024–25. McLain described coops as mechanisms to facilitate vendor bidding, communication and evaluation, and to provide technical assistance to members.
The presentation was informational and intended to keep the board apprised of procurement channels the district will use; no board action was taken. Staff will proceed with procurement under existing board policy and the district’s purchasing procedures.
