The Childress ISD Board approved a 3% pay increase beginning in the 2025–2026 fiscal year for specified support roles including Directors of Transportation, Maintenance and Food Service, as well as HR, accounts payable/PEIMS, and the superintendent’s administrative assistant. Vote was 5-0.

The Childress Independent School District Board of Education approved a 3% pay increase for multiple support positions beginning with the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The motion to adopt the increase was made by Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Dr. Green; the board voted 5-0 to carry the motion (Motion #6203).
