"I will send Mister Davis, at the direction of the election board, a letter advising him that the hearing is being set for August 12 at 9AM," Molly said.
Board members discussed logistics and the need to give adequate notice. The board also instructed staff to include the rules and procedures it had just adopted and to consider whether the separate filings should be consolidated; Molly noted that because all challenges related to the same candidate, holding a single hearing made practical sense. The hearing was scheduled tentatively for Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 9:00 a.m., conditioned on room availability and timely certified notice.
