Committee prioritizes irrigation upgrades, schedules RFP and design work
Staff told the San Clemente City Golf Course Committee the adopted budget funds the first half of irrigation repairs now and the second half next fiscal year; staff expects to issue an RFP and start design work in December or January, with construction later depending on consultant schedule.

Staff member Samantha (S5) told the committee the budget includes phased funding for irrigation upgrades and for maintenance equipment. "The budget was adopted, and we funded the 1st 0.5 of irrigation, repairs in this current fiscal year and the 2nd 0.5 in the following fiscal year," Samantha said. She also said about $200,000 is committed to new maintenance equipment for the course.
