The Madelia City Council on July 27 approved Resolution 2026-13 to establish a Redevelopment Project Area and adopt an associated redevelopment plan. Committee member Glen Christensen moved to adopt the resolution and Committee member Matt Gunderson seconded; the motion passed unanimously with Mayor Cody Eager and all councilmembers voting in favor.
