Following an executive session on personnel, the board selected Brenda Prescott, Jessica Fish and Nicole Reeves as the district’s applicants for the Teacher Empowerment Program in a unanimous vote.

After convening in executive session on Oct. 8 to discuss personnel matters, the Wellston Board returned to open session and voted to select three applicants for the Teacher Empowerment Program. The minutes record: "Motion to select Brenda Prescott, Jessica Fish, and Nicole Reeves as the applicants for the Teacher Empowerment Program." The motion was made by Brock Terrell, seconded by Crystal Hull, and carried 5–0.
