During the Oct. 8 special meeting the board approved purchasing a digital marquee for the elementary school and selecting the ACT as the district-provided college‑readiness test for 2025–26. Meeting minutes record a motion: "Motion to purchase a digital marquee from Focus Digital Displays LLC and have Jackson Electric install the marquee." The motion was made by Bradley Pittman, seconded by Tyler Barnes, and carried 5–0. The Building/Bond Fund encumbrance register shows a $20,000 entry to FOCUS DIGITAL DISPLAYS, LLC dated 10/09/2025.
