Superintendent delivered routine administrative updates on Feb. 10, including a reminder that the March board meeting was rescheduled to March 3. The board received a first reading of Policy Update 124 regarding paraprofessionals. The minutes list paraprofessional appointments: Stewart, Summer (High School diploma, Secretary to Principal at Jasper High School) and Wise, Kimberly (High School diploma, Secretary to the Director of Maintenance). The minutes also record retirements and resignations with effective dates: Fillyaw, Lillie (Life Skills Aide, effective July 2025); Tukes, Betty (Instructional Aide, effective May 23, 2025); and resignations including Byerly, Michelle (Receptionist at Jasper Jr. High School, effective Feb. 12, 2025), Grant, Sherry Rawls (Instructional Aide at Few Primary School, effective Jan. 24, 2025) and Jones, Shawneece (Math Teacher at Jasper High School, effective Feb. 4, 2025).
