"I make a motion to approve the application to delay the teacher certification requirement according to the Tex. Educ. Code § 21.0032(a-1), and further move to approve the Teacher Certification Plan as presented," Trustee Russ Johnson said when making the motion. The motion was seconded by Trustee Tyler Stewart and passed unanimously, 7–0. The board recorded the vote and directed Human Resources to monitor implementation of the plan.
