Gallagher Construction reports Phase 2 progress on McCamey ISD projects

Mark Miller of Gallagher Construction updated the McCamey ISD Board of Trustees on Phase 2 campus construction work during the Sept. 18 meeting.
Miller reported that bus maintenance sidewalk pours and appliance installations are complete. He said the gymnasium building—s concrete masonry unit (CMU) work is complete, concrete work is nearing completion, and brick installation and steel erection are in progress. Work at the high school includes CMU work, concrete work, brick installation and steel erection in active progress. Luis Valenzuela provided the maintenance and transportation reports that accompanied the construction update.
The update provided the board an operational picture of site progress and remaining trades; no formal vote or change order was reported in the minutes.
