The Pasadena ISD Board on Aug. 27 approved a $36,147,181 construction contract with Gamma Construction Company to replace Bailey Elementary under the 2022 bond program. The motion passed 6-0. The board also approved Final Change Order No. 007 for the New Administration Building Replacement Project in the credit amount of $23,638 and multiple Allowance Expenditure Authorizations (AEAs) related to bond projects, including AEA No. A-013 for $113,708 and AEA No. A-014 in the credit amount of $48,640.
The board approved agreements for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) commissioning services with Coastal Commissioning Group for $30,000 and HVAC testing and balancing services with Engineered Air Balance Co., Inc. for $46,775. These actions were recorded under the Operations Section and carried by unanimous vote.
