DDA accepts FY2025 audit; external auditor issues clean opinion
External auditor CBIZ presented the fiscal 2025 audit and issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Auditors noted GASB lease-accounting presentation changes and a few documentation recommendations that management has begun addressing.

Brandon Lopez, a partner with CBIZ, presented the DDA’s independent auditor’s report for fiscal year 2025 and said the organization received an unmodified (clean) opinion. Lopez explained that recent GASB lease-accounting changes require recording right-of-use assets and associated lease liabilities, which "gross up" balance-sheet totals but do not change net position or operating results.
