Commission approves three highway agreements for culvert and engineering work

The Brookings County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved three construction-related agreements on Aug. 4 to advance work on two structures.
Commissioners authorized Agreement #26-46, a construction agreement with Holloway Bridge and Culvert, Inc. for structure and approach grading on Structure #06-240-123 and #06-240-141 (PCN 09GT and 09GU). The board also approved short-form agreements (#26-47 and #26-48) with Banner Associates, Inc. for construction engineering services for Structure #06-240-123 (PCN 09GT) and Structure #06-240-141 (PCN 09GU). Highway Superintendent Brian Gustad provided background information before the unanimous roll-call approvals.
The motions passed with roll call votes recorded as "aye" from Commissioners Jensen, Post, Miller and Hostler. The approvals enable procurement and scheduling of construction and engineering services for the identified structures.
