Chair Cynthia Murnyack‑Czarnecki reported the Commission's application to the Ohio Historical Markers Program was acknowledged by Dr. Betsy Hadler of the Ohio History Connection in May. According to the Chair's report, Dr. Hadler advised the Commission to refrain from contacting the Ohio History Connection with inquiries until after August, and to make contact only if no response has been received by that time.
