Town manager: state and federal grant work under way; developer may propose entry-level homes
Town Manager Alan told the council the town has submitted a state grant for East Entrance work, is finalizing CHFA paperwork for Sagewood lots, continues design discussions on a $5 million DOE-related grant, and expects a local developer to submit an offer for several lots.

Alan, the town manager, gave a multi-part update on capital and development efforts: banners and flowers were recently installed in town; the green-waste piles have been burned and are being cleaned up; and the East Entrance grant application to the state has been submitted to fund concrete-block work at the entrance. “The main grant that we're looking at to the state will be used primarily for the concrete blocks that we use at the entrance,” Alan said.
