Peekskill building official outlines enforcement gains and state code shift toward electrification

Nick Cesaire (Speaker 7) presented the building department's 2026 budget and reviewed activity data for 2022'025, noting permit counts, complaints, enforcement actions and revenue. He said the department increased evening and weekend inspections and implemented an expanded fire-safety program with the Peekskill Fire Department.
