Planning staff proposed adopting CloudPermit to replace the current iWORK permitting system, citing improved usability, payment-system integration and reduced manual export/import work. Staff said the project would include an implementation fee in year one and lower recurring costs thereafter and estimated a five- to six-month overlap period to implement the new system.
