Council approves CloudPermit software to replace iWORK for permitting

"We've used I work for a number of years... it's functional, but it's not efficient," Sean said, and described how CloudPermit would eliminate duplicate work and provide additional application types without extra fees. Councilmembers asked about budget placement; staff said the costs were in the approved budget and would be covered by existing fees for building permits, business licenses and dog licenses. Council approved the CloudPermit agreement and authorized the mayor to sign the contract.
