Council pledges 10-year lease commitment for archery building to support grant application

Ben Christiansen, speaking on behalf of the archery club, sought a verbal commitment to a long-term lease to improve the club's chances for grant funding. He said the grant guidance favored at least a 10-year term for projects under $50,000 and 15'20 years for larger amounts, and asked whether the council could provide a commitment to a lease duration so the club could pursue grant funding.
