Hunter Board approves minutes, corrects vehicle reference in bond paperwork

The Town Board of the Town of Hunter approved the regular meeting minutes of Sept. 24, 2024, and the Budget Workshop minutes of Sept. 25, 2024, following a motion from Councilman David Kukle that was seconded by Councilman Raymond Legg. The board recorded the vote as Ayes 4, Noes 0, Absent 1 (Dolph Semenza).
Supervisor Sean Mahoney then moved to correct the Sept. 24 minutes to amend bond paperwork vehicle identification from “Explorer” to “Durango.” That motion carried by the same vote tally. "Supervisor Mahoney calls the meeting to order at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance," appears in the meeting minutes as the opening procedural note and the correction was entered into the official record. The actions were procedural and no additional debate occurred.
