At its April 2 meeting the Forest County Commissioners unanimously proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and presented the proclamation to three Children & Youth caseworkers; the declaration was moved by Commissioner Robert Snyder and seconded by Commissioner Patrick Kline.

The motion was made by Commissioner Robert Snyder, Jr. and seconded by Commissioner Patrick Kline; the board recorded the motion as carried unanimously and presented the proclamation to local child-welfare staff.
