The Village of Davis board voted Dec. 10 to accept an audit proposal from Benning Group for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2024. The only response to the auditor search came from Benning Group, which estimated a base cost of $25,000 to $27,000 and said an additional $4,500 to $5,500 could be charged if more than $750,000 in federal funds were spent on a project. Rich Rote moved to accept the Benning Group offer; Mike Wise seconded and the motion carried.
