Supervisor reports DPW progress, development prospects and grant applications
Supervisor Corcoran reported progress on the DPW garage footings and walls, noted upcoming transformer work by Central Hudson, said the town expects two major resort proposals at the Planning Board, and confirmed applications for grants totaling $450,000 to support the DPW project.

Supervisor Corcoran provided several operational and development updates at the Oct. 28 meeting. He said the DPW project is advancing: "The footings are all in, they have started the walls for the garage bay area in the back. We are now waiting on Central Hudson to disconnect the gas lines and hook up transformers for electric to the trailers." He also said the town plans to add extra parking at the Police Station and that American Cruise Lines is still expected at the riverfront.
