On Oct. 20, 2025 the Rio Vista ISD board approved FDA (LOCAL) as presented on the agenda. Trustee Cathy Smith moved to approve the local policy; Trustee Ronnie Crecelius seconded and the motion passed with a unanimous 7–0 vote.
