Commissioners granted use of the Bee County Courthouse grounds and limited electrical for the 2026 National Night Out community event on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.; organizers were asked to coordinate electrical and grounds logistics with county maintenance.

Representatives from Coastal Bend College and Beeville Main Street asked Bee County Commissioners Court to approve use of the courthouse grounds for National Night Out on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Melissa Sanchez of Coastal Bend College described the event as a free, family-friendly opportunity to build positive relationships among residents, law enforcement, government and community organizations.
