Board appoints Ben Yoder to Planning Commission and approves assistant prosecutor pay raise

County Clerk Jamie McClain said the City requested Ben Yoder be appointed to the Planning Commission. Commissioner Kraycs moved and Commissioner Goscicki seconded to appoint Ben Yoder (City of Grayling) with a term ending Dec. 31, 2028; the board approved the appointment by unanimous roll call.
Chairperson Laurie Jamison reported County Controller Paul Compo identified a candidate for the Assistant Prosecutor position and that Prosecutor Koch supported the candidate. Commissioner Lewis moved and Commissioner Frederick seconded “to increase the Assistant Prosecutor's salary from $65,000.00 to $80,000.00.” The motion carried on a unanimous roll call, and the board recorded the new salary authorization.
