Commissioners expand Veterans Service Council and approve two opioid-litigation resolutions
The Board voted to expand the Veterans Service Council from three to five members and approved two resolutions authorizing participation in national opioid litigation (Sackler Family/Purdue and small manufacturer defendants). All measures passed by roll call vote at the Aug. 14 meeting.

The Board approved a motion to expand the Veterans Service Council from three members to five (motion by Commissioner Frederick, second by Commissioner Lewis). The roll-call vote was unanimous and the Board recorded the expansion as approved.
