The Clarksburg City Council moved into executive session to discuss purchase, sale or lease negotiations related to the Heights Field project and, after returning to open session, voted to begin the eminent domain process for the property. A council member moved that the council go into executive session to discuss real property negotiations, citing West Virginia law; the motion was seconded and passed before the council entered executive session.
