Councilwoman Roscoe moved and the council approved a memorandum of understanding between the City of Romulus and IAFF Local 4126 (dated 07/23/2026) following an executive session recommendation from human resources and legal counsel.

Councilwoman Roscoe moved that the council "concur with the recommendation of human resource director Steven Brummer and the legal counsel and authorize the mayor and the city clerk to enter into a memorandum of understanding between the city of Romulus and the IAFF Local 4126 dated 07/23/2026 as presented." The motion, seconded by a colleague, passed on a unanimous voice vote.
