The Prospect Heights School District 23 Board voted Dec. 18 to increase Extended Day Program (EDP) monthly fees for 2026–27 by the December Consumer Price Index, following a recommendation from administration and the Finance Committee.
Administration reported healthy participation—approximately 25 AM students and about 121 PM students at Ross/Sullivan, with an additional 41 at MacArthur—and said the fee adjustment is intended to align tuition with neighboring districts while maintaining program quality. The motion to approve the fee increase was moved by Mrs. Morrissey and seconded by Mr. Nordmark and passed by roll call (Yea:5, Nay:0). The administration will review staffing and capacity and reported a plan to reallocate equipment and ensure conference rooms have printers as part of a broader operational alignment.
