C4 retreat poll: members make transportation top priority, economic development second

Jamie Lorenzini reported back on the June C4 retreat and launched a live poll asking members to prioritize transportation, land use and economic development. The poll drew 13 responses; Lorenzini summarized the result: "62% of respondents said [transportation] should be our number 1 priority," and members discussed using that ranking to shape agendas and work products for the coming year.
Members debated the ranking and emphasized overlap among issues. Several speakers said transportation work is a prerequisite for unlocking economic development and land use goals. Co‑chair Paul Savas moved to accept the poll results as guidance and the motion passed without opposition; the body will use the ranking to help prioritize meeting topics and staff work plans this year.
Why it matters: C4 will use the ranking to filter future agendas and focus staff time, with a request that staff bring draft Values and Outcomes documents for transportation and economic development to members for consultation in the fall.
