The Burnet CISD Board approved a resolution Feb. 23 to pay district staff who were unable to work because of the district's weather closure from Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, through Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. Angela Moore moved to approve the resolution and David Bennett seconded. The board recorded five 'Y' votes and two absences.
