Council approves Spanish-language access plan for New Home Program
Lorenzo City Council voted unanimously Dec. 8 to adopt a language assistance plan to provide Spanish-language support for participants in the New Home Program.

Council Member Janet Peterson-Gonzales moved that the city provide language assistance in Spanish for the New Home Program; Council Member Cheryl Birdwell seconded and the motion passed by a 5–0 vote. The motion was recorded on the consent/discussion portion of the agenda as: "for the city to provide a language assistance plan for Spanish speaking for the New Home program."
