Rich Turner, chair of the Williamstown Planning Commission, told members the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission amended language in its 2016 energy section and that the change "did pass on July 9, 2024," then was reviewed in a special meeting on July 18 that found no violations and left the July 9 decision intact.
Turner said he will e-mail commissioners the Central Vermont packet and a legislative PDF link, and asked members to look at materials starting on page 27. He also flagged a legislative change, H.687 under Act 250, that renames the hearing body to the "Land Use Review Board." Commissioners did not vote on any action related to the packet and Turner said he will follow up by e-mail with scheduling for Town Plan work.
