The Leon County Commissioners Court approved motions to rebid key county term contracts and to renew an existing solid waste disposal contract. Specifically, the court directed rebids for oil sand, hot mix and cold mix asphalt; cracked fuel oil; fuel; janitorial services; pug mixing of oil sand; and purchase of aggregate materials. The court also directed rebidding for primary and secondary aggregate hauling via belly dump by precinct and renewed Texas Commercial Waste for solid waste disposal.
Motions were moved primarily by Commissioner Kyle Workman with seconds by Commissioner Foley and Commissioner Bing; all motions were recorded as carried. The minutes reference rebid instructions and do not include the solicitation documents or timelines in the public record.
