The China City Council voted unanimously on Nov. 21, 2024 to adopt a resolution authorizing city staff to submit an application to the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) program and to commit the required local matching funds. The motion was made by Councilman Phillip Kibodeaux and seconded by Councilwoman Rachel Shauberger.
