The Oneida County Planning & Development Committee voted July 22, 2026, to approve a conditional use permit for a construction and landscaping workshop at 8894 Sarah B Lane in the Town of Woodruff. Planning staff (Karl Jennrich and Land Use Specialist Scott Ridderbusch) read the department report and recommended ten conditions covering signage, parking, lighting, dumpster screening and recycling, required building and POWTS permits, outdoor‑storage limits per the site plan, stormwater infiltration, and compliance with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requirements for non‑domestic wastewater holding tanks and proper disposal of waste fluids. Chair Scott Holewinski opened the public hearing; no members of the public spoke before the committee closed the hearing.
The motion to approve the CUP with the ten staff conditions passed on a motion by Bob Almekinder, seconded by Dan Hess, with all members present voting “Aye.” The committee’s approval requires the applicant to obtain any necessary Town, County, or State permits prior to construction and to keep outdoor storage within the area shown on the submitted site plan. The decision was recorded as unanimous.
