The committee heard that staff are arranging a site visit at Gallagher Mansion to inspect the elevator shaft and determine project scope. William Nadek said he expects to bring architects and specialists to the site to evaluate whether structural or electrical engineers will be required before drafting formal drawings.
"We're going to schedule an on‑site meeting, I'm hoping next week… so that we can look at in person, look at the shaft, have people that know what they're looking at, obviously, look at it, and get an idea of the scope of the project," Nadek said. He said funding is in place to start drawings once the scope is clarified.
