AISD board approves amended limited-student transfer language
Trustees approved amended AFD (LOCAL) transfer language allowing a resident student who becomes nonresident during the fall semester to finish the school year; board recorded approval as unanimous.

The Academy ISD Board approved amended language to the district’s AFD (LOCAL) limited-student transfer policy at the March 26 meeting. The board’s final motion made paragraph 3 read that "A resident student who becomes a nonresident during the course of the fall semester shall be permitted to continue in attendance for the remainder of the school year." Mr. Bass moved to approve the amendment and subsequent motions finalized board approval, recorded in the minutes as unanimous 6-0.
