Infrastructure advisory board receives ARPA project update as elevator and annex work continues

White also told the committee that ARPA funds are expected to be spent by September, "possibly 1 small billing in October," after which other funding sources will complete the project.
White described continued difficulties with one of the new annex elevators and said the issue had been escalated to the regional and local manager. He reported Flintco still lists late December as its substantial completion date for part of the work. After questions from members, the chair moved to receive the report and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
The update matters because the elevator availability and security work affect courthouse operations and detention center access, and the committee noted the schedule and funding timing as the project moves from ARPA dollars to other funds.
