The district presented results from a published request for proposals for lawn-care services and recommended selecting East Texas EnviroCare over the incumbent provider, 5 H Services. The administration said two vendors responded: 5 H Services quoted $205,100 for 37 modes and East Texas EnviroCare quoted $208,740 for 38 modes, and recommended EnviroCare based on licensing (a licensed irrigator and commercial pesticide applicator) and the scope of services.
