Veterans center announces Warrior flight dates, language class and support-group planning

Foreman said the next Warrior flight is scheduled "September 15th through 18th," with another planned in April. She reported the recent Veterans Family Fun Day drew more than 50 attendees and that the center has begun a veterans language class taught by veteran Mida Nix.
Foreman said staff are exploring a combat veteran support group and are seeking applications for the 'Bridal of Patriotism' from the reservation and the 14 counties served. Council members expressed appreciation for the center’s events and services; no formal action was taken during the meeting.
