Harbor master reports dredging plans, dinghy enforcement and loading‑zone signage

"They said that that that's they came down and looked at it, and that's we're planning to do that," Pixley said.
Pixley described ongoing enforcement of nonpermitted dinghies — a second round of ticketing produced eight-day warnings and he said the committee may remove unpermitted vessels: "...today is the day where we're gonna go and cut locks off and haul them away." He also outlined capital needs: requests for three new pilings at Steamboat Landing and extra dinghy storage pilings, and noted private dredging typically happens on a roughly 12-year cycle; federal dredges cover the inner harbor and channel on a separate federal schedule.
