Commissioner Smith and the Chief Clerk reported that the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) program that oversees EMS study and funding has been put on hold until at least July 1, 2026. Smith said the county will continue to look at other funding avenues and is communicating with the Wayne County Community Foundation and other entities about options.
