During the public-comment portion of the Aug. 10 meeting, Charlie Parker of Kill Devil Hills praised the board's explanation of the Parks & Recreation sales-tax math and asked whether the board planned to respond to a petition submitted Aug. 2 concerning 'flock systems.' Parker said he had seen charts and postings and asked for the board's response status.
